A welcoming culture

Adelphi Group has lots of opportunities for you to get involved. You might want to be part of the Green Team or bring your ideas to our social and charitable InsideOut squad. There are also lots of remote and face-to-face socials which take place throughout the year. Recent socials have included Junkyard Golf in Manchester, a local Peak District hike for charity and cook-alongs to name a few.

Progress in your role

You’ll have a personal development plan, regular progress meetings with your manager and lots of training opportunities to help you advance in your role. Alongside this you’ll also join the Adelphi Academy Development Programme and be part of a community of over 50 like-minded graduates, postgraduates and apprentices. You’ll take part in a 12-month series of interactive training workshops ranging from gaining an understanding of the steps involved in the development of medicines to refining your own personal and professional skills.

Stay connected

Wherever you are working there are plenty of opportunities to keep connected with your team throughout the day. Our open plan offices provide a bright, energising, and interactive workspace, whilst Microsoft Teams provides everyone with instant messaging, file sharing and video calls for remote working. There are lots of comfy chillout spaces available in the office as well as light and airy meeting rooms for in-person shared ideas sessions. We work collaboratively across all roles, and you’ll be in constant contact with your team via regular daily catch-up calls and meetings.

A fabulous location

Adelphi Group’s Head Office is in Bollington, Cheshire, just south of Manchester. Adelphi Mill is a former silk mill, with stunning views over the foothills of the Peak District. Located next to the canal, Middlewood Way and the famous White Nancy (pictured), access to the beautiful outdoors is on your doorstep! There’s also a fantastic range of cafes and restaurants in Bollington and the neighbouring towns of Macclesfield, Prestbury, Poynton and Alderley Edge.

Adelphi for the Future

The Adelphi for the Future strategy guides us on always working responsibly, with the interests of our people, place, planet and principles at our core. We have a wide range of initiatives for you to get involved in such as fundraisers to support local causes including East Cheshire Hospice, The Christie at Macclesfield and wider national charities like MIND, the British Heart Foundation and MacMillan Cancer Care. We also have an annual initiative to donate to UNICEF and support other worldwide campaigns, most recently for Ukraine and refugees from Afghanistan. Alongside supporting our community, the Adelphi Green Team continuously works to improve our environmental impact.
